CARTRIDGE: M433 & M433I
FUNCTION: This cartridge is a dual purpose impact type round which is designed to penetrate at least two inches of steel armor at 0 angle of obliquity and inflict personnel casualties in the target area.
APPEARANCE: The M433 & M433I are fixed cartridge rounds of ammunition consisting of a projectile body containing the explosive shape charge, a cartridge case assembly and a PIBD fuze. The explosive main charge is Composition A-5. The PIBD fuze is assembled with a Composition CH-6 spit-back assembly that provides the base detonation at the target
